Born and raised in the streets of Raleigh, North Carolina, Gmack the Bandman started out early on a path of street destruction. At 19, the peak of Gmack's teen life, his life was almost taken away. Losing one kidney, and lying helpless in a coma for 3 days - the young gifted rapper wasn't expected to make it, but he never gave up and continued fighting.

With a higher power’s say so, just when everything seemed to have fallen apart, Gmack miraculously survived his gun wounds, immediately sought refuge in music and was later signed to Money Over Death Records in Los Angeles, California. 

Now, his past life only lives through his music, while Gmack focuses on changing his life for the better with his music career.

Gmack The Bandman has performed at a number of shows with his very first performance ever at the world famous Whisky A Go Go nightclub on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood (Los Angeles), California.

Gmack also performed twice at the Observatory in Santa Ana (Los Angeles), California in front of a sold out crowd of close to 1,000 people. Gmack has even opened up for some of the industry’s legendary artists including E-40, Too Short and Rass Kass to name a few.

But the hip hop artist Gmack The Bandman didn't gain national exposure until he released his hit single “Stop Snitchin’ Featuring Kevin Gates” which made waves all over because of its infectious sound that lures the listener with raw vocals, a certified street anthem appeal, and amazing video. Because of his collaboration with Gates, Gmack has already pulled in more than a whopping 500,000 streams across all platforms.

Gmack The Bandman quickly followed up on the success of his single "Stop Snitchin'" with a major show in downtown Los Angeles opening for the legendary Ruff Ryder general, DMX, at the NOVO by Microsoft at LA Live.

Currently to date, Gmack works diligently in the studio – while his released single ‘Stop Snitchin’ with double platinum artist Kevin Gates is streaming heavily on all platforms.

Gmack lists only a few artists among his musical influences including T. I., Yo Gotti, and Kevin Gates. He even pays homage to musical influence, Tupac Shakur, in several unreleased tracks like his “Heaven Got a Ghetto” single that is sure to set the music world on fire.

Many more singles featuring collabs with some dope west coast names are in the future from Gmack The Bandman and Money Over Death.
